Manufacturers’ names for color differ widely. So when  buying paint always take with you a sample of the color you want. The time you needed for paint to dry depends not only on the type of paint, but also on the surface to which it is applied and on atmospheric conditions. Any grease or dirt left on the surface can slow down drying.

If the romm is cold and damp, thinners in both oil and emulsion evporate less quickly and the paint dries more slowly. Made of natural or synthetic resins, color pigment , oils and white sprit solvent. Synthetic resins include alkyds (for flexibility) and polyurethane (for toughness). Oil-based paints generally take longer to dry between coats than emulsions, though some dry faster than others.. Iprovements in the making of white paint mean there is less tendency for them to go yellow.Use white spirit for thinning and cleaning.
