Presenting each time the greatest celebrities of the Polish and foreign musical world as well as young dynamic personalities of all continents we have been contributing to the development of Łódź, its region and the whole country, spreading Polish music worldwide and giving a boost to Polish culture so that it develops in contact with various cultures throughout the world.
The TANSMAN Competition is a novatory original idea of an interdisciplinary competition addressed to artists as musical personalities with a voice of their own.
Its aim is to promote the most promising musical personalities irrespective of their specialities. This makes it possible to appreciate not only the technical and interpretative perfection displayed by performers, but also – or indeed above all – their personality.
It is exactly this musical personality that singles out certain artists and clears their way through concert halls across the world to an international career.
The performer competition – presenting artists of various disciplines such as flute, piano, bassoon, guitar, clarinet, violin or cello – is a biennal event that alternates with the composer competition open to composers of all continents.
So far the Competition has gathered musicians of over 50 countries, including Poland, Russia, Belgium, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, South Korea, USA, South Africa, China, Columbia, Brasil, Japan, Serbia, France, Sweden, Austria, Tajwan, Italy, Canada, Turkey, Bulgaria, Chile, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Switzerland, Syria, Singapore, Tunesia, Great Britain, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Phillipines, Denmark, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Australia, Albania, Armenia, Israel, Cuba, Lithuania, Latvia, Malesia, Norway, Nea Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Argentina, Mexico, and Finland.
