India quoted Pakistan’s claim that India was behind the recent Lahore blast as completely “baseless”. External affairs minister S M Krishna on Wednesday said that this claim is “most unthinkable”.
Krishna said, “I think all these issues of blasts arise out of our attitude towards terror,” “When we take a firm stand against terror, not on a selective basis but across the board, then I am sure that Pakistan will be happier and India will be peaceful.”
Regarding Pakistan’s allegation, Krishna reported, “It is the most unthinkable accusation that anybody can make against India. It is a falsehood which is being spread. We deny any involvement in any blast, anywhere.”
Official sources said that this is not the first incident when Pakistan imposed such allegations against India, in the recent past, when the cricket team of Sri Lanka was attacked in Pakistan, India was blamed.
It has been said by sources, “No evidence has been shared with us. This is whole fabrication by that side. And they will continue doing it.”
