Bal Thackeray is in no mood to spare Rahul Gandhi as he turned furious over his recent reference of Mumbai as ‘Bombay’ during his recent speech when he visited Mumbai. Thackeray said in ‘Saamna’, “During his speech here, Rahul Gandhi repeatedly called Mumbai as Bombay. Those who want to break Mumbai away from Maharashtra call Mumbai as Bombay.” The Sena Supremo also said that the Congress youth icon’s visit to Mumbai was like a “funeral procession of Congress” carried out by the Marathis. The Sena Supremo even mocked at Ramesh Bagwe, Minister of State for Home, for carrying Rahul Gandhi’s shoes to keep them safe, saying, “The minister should be ashamed to stoop so low.” And added in the editorial column of ‘Saamna’, “Rahul Gandhi is not a Mahatma Gandhi so that his shoes should be held close to the heart.”
