The demand by Anbumani Ramadoss to Ajith and director Saran to “delete scenes that show Ajith smoking” in Aasal has been rejected by the producers of the film.
On behalf of Sivaji Productions Prabhu, the producer has issued a press statement saying that their film Aasal has been given a ‘UA’ certificate by the Regional Censor Board in Chennai.
They have been cleared by the censors as they have followed all the censor guidelines. Added to that Prabhu said, that Ajith’s speech on ‘smoking is injurious to health’ will be showed at the beginning of the film.
