New Delhi, Jan 28 (IBNS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday said India faced both external and internal threats.

Addressing the 60th Republic Day Rally of NCC Cadets, he said India must do more to combat these threats .

“Today our country is facing many challenges-some from outside and some from within. They are trying to impede our progress and propserity. We have to fight these forces of terror and communalism,” Singh said.

“In this circumstances NCC is assuming more importance to organize our youths,” the PM added.
